FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method for cryogenic treatment of plant seeds is proposed, which includes cooling the seeds to negative temperatures and then storing them or warming them before sowing at a temperature of 25–35 °C. Pre-packaged seeds in cotton bags are loaded into the cells of the containers of the device for treatment with liquid nitrogen and fill the chambers with liquid nitrogen, then cool the seeds to negative temperatures.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to improve the seed quality of the seeds.
