FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ecology and environmental protection, or more specifically to methods for treating sewage sludge. To reduce the release of harmful combustion products into the environment by burning the dried sludge Before feeding the dewatered sludge into the combustion chamber, it is mixed with magnesium hydroxide nanoparticles – Mg(OH)2, then fed to the combustion chamber and heated to the combustion temperature of the precipitate. Resulting harmful gases are converted into harmless salts as a result of chemical reactions.
EFFECT: method ensures harm reduction to the environment, simplifies the composition of the necessary equipment by eliminating complex systems for further gas cleaning and reducing the level of corrosion.
