FIELD: ecology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to decontamination of sewage sludge hazardous for the environment and ash. Sediment of waste water and ash are dangerous substances for nature and life and health and require recycling. Sediment residue is mixed with non-pulverized ash. In case of formation of lumps during mixing water is added to produce a homogeneous mixture. Mass fraction of ash is 10–50 % of weight of processed sewage sludge. Disclosed method uses calcium ash, for example, ash of brown coal, peat, wood or a combination thereof.

EFFECT: technical result is simultaneous neutralization of sewage sludge and ash to obtain useful product, which can be used in national economy, for example, as fertilizer, for reclamation of lands and/or as construction soil of general purpose.
