FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry and can be used for separation and determination of metals. Method of extraction of metal ions comprises extraction from acidic solutions. As a low-melting extractant, dithiocyanate diantipyrylmethanium is used, which is formed in the water-mineral acid-ammonium-diantipyrylmethane system, which provides extraction of zinc (II), cadmium (II), iron (III), cobalt (II) ions at a concentration of hydrogen ions in the range from 0.5 to 2.5 mol/l and thiocyanate ions in the range of 0.5 to 1.5 mol/l.
EFFECT: technical result is increased selectivity and safety of the analysis.
