FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry, and is aimed at an analytical application of a low-melting extractant with a temperature below the boiling point of water, and is intended for practical application in analytical, eco-analytical, and medical laboratories for extracting ionic forms of zinc from acidic aqueous chloride solutions.Extraction isolation of ionic forms of zinc from an acidic aqueous solution is executed by a low-melting melt, wherein hexyldiantipyryl methane with acetylsalicylic acid at a molar ratio of 1:2 is used as said melt, producing a melt of hexyldiantipyryl methane diacetyl salicylate with a melting point of 77±1°C and a density of 2.28±0.02 g/cm3. The extraction isolation is therein executed by adding 1.00 g of said melt to an acid 3.0 M HCl solution containing zinc ions introduced into a test tube with a plug, followed by placing said tube in a water bath and heating at a temperature of 85 to 90°C for 5 minutes, intensely shaking for 2 to 3 minutes for quantitative extraction of zinc ions. The actions are repeated 4 to 5 times, followed by separating the concentrate of zinc ions by centrifugation, dissolving in 2 ml of alcohol, and recording by atomic adsorption method.
EFFECT: method ensures simplicity of concentration of ions from an acidic aqueous solution, convenience of preparation of the concentrate, and effectiveness of extraction of zinc ions from an acidic chloride solution thereof.
