SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to compositions of iron-based alloys that can be used in automotive industry. Iron-based alloy contains, wt%: manganese 0.7–1.2; titanium 0.15–0.2; aluminium 0.02–0.06; calcium 0.005–0.015; zirconium 0.2–0.3; arsenic 0.03–0.05; selenium 0.01–0.02; niobium 0.02–0.04; silver 0.02–0.04; nickel 3.0–4.5; rest is iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance.
