FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of orientation in the enclosed space. In the method, the initial positioning is performed with respect to the reference RFID marking of the building containing information on the structure and layout of the building, indicating all directions of possible movement within the building from the reference RFID marking, each of the RFID markings contains the indication of the direction of movement to the nearest ones, which follow it, in all possible directions at the given point of the building - forward, backward, right, left, up and down. Identification of the internal building facility is carried out due to the fact that the radar identified RFID marking is opposed to the set (matrix) of markings, each of which corresponds to the unique building facility, with the subsequent selection from this set of exact correspondence, and the identification of the distance is carried out by means of comparing the calculated value of distance with the set of distances, from which the value closest to the calculated value is selected, and the RFID markings are out of the free access zone.

EFFECT: technical result is the improved accuracy of locating the user.
