FIELD: ship building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly to submarine vehicles which break up ice cover. Device for the destruction of the ice cover consisting of a submarine vessel equipped with an anchor is proposed, the diameter of the paws opening must be greater than the length of the cockpit, with the help of a cable providing attachment of the vessel to the ice, and ballast tanks, which filling with the outboard water provides occurrence of the negative buoyancy, sufficient to destroy the ice cover of a given thickness. Point of the rope securing to the submarine should be aligned with the submarine displacement center. Under the ice cover, a pump is installed on the anchor line, capable of periodical sucking out of water from under ice with the frequency of resonant flexural-gravitational waves for a time equal to half of their period.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of ice breaking efficiency.
