SUBSTANCE: device for the impacts between railway cars energy absorbing contains two sealing bushings (7, 8), which provide the direction of the piston rod (5), which are located on one side of the piston (4). Inner sealing bushing (7) divides the chamber inside the closed cylinder (1) to a working chamber (10) axially limited by an inner surface of the bottom (2), and to the lubricant chamber (9) axially limited by the inner surface of the outer sealing bushing (8). Working chamber (10) has a flow zone (11), in which the cylinder (1) inner diameter is enlarged and located adjacent to the inner sealing bushing (7), and a compression zone (12), in which the cylinder (1) inner diameter provides a slip fit relative to the surface of the piston (4) corresponding to its outer diameter. Due to the arrangement of the two sealing bushings on one side of the piston, it can be precisely axially guided to enable proper operation of the device under the effect of an increased transverse load.

EFFECT: due to the separation of the working chamber into the flow zone and the compression zone, small portions of energy under normal operating conditions, as well as large portions of energy under extreme conditions of collision can be gently absorbed.
