FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: articulated freight wagon includes at least two sections, each of which includes a body with a frame, with shock-traction devices placed in their cantilevers, including absorbing apparatuses, mounted on the running trolleys and equipped with a brake, connected by a rigid, one-piece hitch. In the middle part of the hitch, a projection is made, which contacts the elements of the absorbing apparatus. Length of the rigid coupling is selected from the condition of providing the distance between the bodies of the sections both on a straight line, and on the curved sections of the railway track. Shanks of a rigid, one-piece hitch that contact the elements of the absorbing apparatus are spherical.
EFFECT: device of a freight car is proposed.
