FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, in particular to articulated tank cars for transporting liquid, high-viscosity and solidifying cargo. The tank car contains two boilers (1), each of which is installed on a frame or semi-frames (4). Adjacent frames or semi-frames (4) of two sequentially located boilers are connected by an articulation unit and rest in the area of the articulation unit on a common undercarriage (8). The device (5) of the articulated type for articulation of cars includes a center plate and a hinge part, while the center plate part consists of a center plate, a shank and a body. Inside the body cavity of the center plate, the lower and upper liners are installed, to the inner spherical surfaces of which a ball is tightly held, held by a clamping flange fixed on the body, and having a shaft of variable cross-sectional height, the axis of symmetry of which coincides with the axis of the hole made in the ball from the opposite side from the shaft and is the geometric center of rotation of the trolley (8). The ball shaft is rigidly fixed in the drive element of the hinge part. In the embodiment of the tank car, the shaft is made of a conical shape and is fixed in the hinge part by a transition sleeve having a conical mating surface.
EFFECT: simplifies manufacturing, increases the reliability and maintainability of the structure.
