FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a manufacturing system and a method of manufacturing aircraft. Manufacturing system comprises manufacturing equipment for manufacturing an aircraft, a control system, an object manager in the control system. Object manager comprises a display device for displaying selected sections for assembling the aircraft. To manufacture an aircraft, the aircraft model is identified, the aircraft sections are displayed in a graphical user interface on the display device, the assembly of the aircraft is controlled based on the displayed sections corresponding to the aircraft parts.
EFFECT: faster aircraft assembly and shorter time on operator training.
