METHOD OF THE SIGNALS SPLINE-FILTERING Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01S3/86

Abstract RU 2651640 C1

FIELD: radio engineering; electronics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio electronics and hydro acoustics, namely to methods of signal detecting and processing in the presence of interferences. Invention consists in implementing of an optimal method development for the hydro acoustic signal detecting under conditions of interferences described by nonlinear stochastic equations. Method of signals spline filtering is based on the conditional Markov filtering method, which includes: solving the filtering equations for the hypothesis of signal presence / absence; likelihood equations; equation for gain ratios calculating. Distinctive feature of the spline filtering method is that, in order to obtain interference estimates for a nonlinear equation of state, the nonlinear function spline interpolation is additionally used, and the nonlinear function changes dynamic range area is divided into intervals, in each of which an equation of state linear representation is implemented, which allows to implement a Kalman-Bucy filter on each of the sub-bands, including: two equations of state estimation with hypotheses of the signal presence / absence; dispersion estimation equation on the various intervals and the likelihood equation including these estimates, based on the calculation results a decision is made on the signal detection or non-detection.

EFFECT: technical result is the reduction of computational costs, enabling high efficiency of the signal detection with various interferences, obtaining a more efficient filtering algorithm and the ability of operation in real time.
