FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for signal processing in the presence of interference in radio electronics and hydroacoustics. A sigma-point Kalman filter algorithm is used, wherein the filtration equations are broken down into an equation for estimating the state under the hypothesis of the presence of a signal, equations for estimating the variance of the filtering error for each hypothesis and corresponding equations for the filter gains. In addition, a likelihood equation is additionally solved, which includes these estimates, based on the calculation results of which a decision is made on detection or non-detection of a signal.
EFFECT: enabling reduction of computational operations, as well as providing the possibility of using a filtering algorithm, which enables to reliably detect a signal with various interference in real time.
