SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the gas and oil producing industry and can be used to shut down the wellbore during repair work without well killing. Subsurface safety valve comprises a housing with output radial windows, a stepped bushing, a locking element, a cam and rod drive having the possibility of limited reciprocative axial movement. In the housing, below the output radial windows, the inlet radial windows are made. Stepped bushing is mounted on the housing to form an annular gap between them, communicating with the housing cavity through the inlet radial windows. Locking element is mounted on the rod with the possibility of overlapping the inlet radial windows of the housing in the upper position of the rod. Housing is closed at the bottom by a plug, while the housing cavities above and below the locking element are hydraulically connected through the longitudinal channels in the housing.

EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability of the subsurface safety valve.
