SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to the housing of a drug delivery device and a pen-type injector. Housing comprises an outer shell with an aperture and an insert placed in the aperture. Housing comprises a clamp attached to the outer shell. Insert has a recess which is engaged by a lug of the clamp to retain the insert within the aperture of the outer shell. Pen-type syringe has a cartridge and a housing. Outer shell of the housing closes the drive mechanism for setting and introducing a dose from the cartridge.
EFFECT: technical result is strong fixing of the insert in the housing and easier manufacture thereof.
