SUBSTANCE: invention relates generally to steam turbine safety systems. High-flow valve in an electrohydraulic safety control unit is designed to discharge an oil volume by commands from the safety system of a steam turbine with the actuation of actuators to stop the flow of steam in the steam turbines to stop said turbines. Valve comprises a body with a flange having spaced through-holes, a flat-circular plate cartridge and a casing made in accordance with each other. Casing has a chamber for accommodating the volume of oil, an inlet / outlet channel for entry and exit through it of the oil volume, and a peripheral seat in which the cartridge is located. Plate cartridge is configured to move up and down with a very small stroke S while increasing or decreasing the amount of oil in the chamber to open and close the outlets formed by the spaced through-holes to allow fluid flow through and stop same.
EFFECT: invention reduces the risk of jamming to provide high reliability in a cheap and feasible manner.
