FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to molecular biological diagnosis. Microfluidic cartridge (100) for detecting biomolecules comprises a detection chamber (140), a microchip (142) based on a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) structure having a sensing area (144) located in the detection chamber (140), and contact area (146) sealed off from the detection chamber (140). Detection chamber (140) is configured to supply the sample solution through the inlet (124) and to discharge the sample solution to be analyzed through the outlet port (126). Sensor area (144) of microchip (142) contains a system of functionalized test regions (130) for electrochemical detection of biomolecules in the sample solution. Each test region (130) of the sensor area (140) is provided with its own sigma-delta modulator (132) for analog-to-digital conversion of electrical signals generated in the test sections (130) during electrochemical detection.

EFFECT: simplification and reduction of process time of detection of biomolecules is provided.
