FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to transport machine building. Method for operating of an electrically operable parking brake system of a vehicle consists in that a transfer of the electrically operable parking brake system from an applied operating state into a released operating state is initiated when the presence of a starting condition is detected. Presence of a starting condition is independent of an operating device provided for manually operating the electrically operable parking brake system and/or used to release the parking brake system when the operating device is faulty. Activation of the service brake of the vehicle is requested by the parking brake system.
EFFECT: higher traffic safety.
