SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and concerns the surgical treatment of end-to-end idiopathic macular ruptures of the retina. Method includes performing vitrectomy, removal of the posterior hyaloid membrane, removal of the inner border membrane of the retina and tamponade of the vitreous cavity with gas, followed by application of biological glue to the macular rupture area. In this case autologous platelet lysate prepared from a platelet-enriched autoplasma containing not less than 1,000×10³ ml/ml. Lysate is applied to the area of the macular rupture in a dose of 0.3–0.4 ml. Then additionally, no earlier than 72 hours after the operation, pterygopalatine injections of an autologous platelet lysate in a dose of 3–4 ml are made to the area of the pterygoid pit located under the zygomatic arch on the side of the affected eye. Course of injections is 2–4 procedures with an interval of 72–96 hours.

EFFECT: method ensures shortening of duration of the complete closure of the macular rupture and an increase in visual functions.
