FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves vitrectomy with excision and excision of the posterior hyaloid membrane. The previously stained internal border membrane is also removed. Active and (after 5-7 minutes) additional passive aspiration of the vitreous remains over the rupture is performed without mechanical reduction of the rupture edges. Platelet-rich blood plasma (PRP) is introduced, and final retinal tamponade is performed with air. At that, the macular rupture area is treated with sulfated glycosaminoglycans at a concentration of 1 to 5% prior to PRP introduction and at a concentration of 0.05% after PRP introduction.
EFFECT: improved visual functions and reduced trauma of the corneal shell.
