FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental hydromechanics, to tests in experimental basins of floating engineering structures models with complex spatial oscillations under the action of surface waves. Essence of the invention is that the complex for measuring the characteristics of spatial oscillations of floating objects in the experimental (wave) basin contains a block of three-component accelerometers and gyroscopes, while the measuring axes of the block of three-component accelerometers and gyroscopes are installed along the axes of the Cartesian right-handed coordinate system coinciding with the longitudinal, transverse and vertical axes of the tested model, and the outputs of the block of three-component accelerometers and gyroscopes are connected to the first input of the computer, to the second input of which a block of wave recorders is connected, and a physical pendulum is additionally introduced into the complex with the possibility of sequentially installing the block of three-component accelerometers and gyroscopes on it in such a way that each of the block axes of the coincides with the plane of pendulum motion.
EFFECT: technical result is the acquisition of reliable data and long-term stability of metrological characteristics of three-component accelerometers and gyroscopes.
