SUBSTANCE: method comprises using a composition comprising ketosuccinamate, dimeric ketosuccinamate; 4-amino-2,4-dioxobutanoic acid; (S)-4-oxo-2-azetidinecarboxylic acid; (R)-4-oxo-2-azetidinecarboxylic acid; 4,8-dioxo-1,5-diazocane-2,6-dicarboxylic acid or 2,6-dihydroxy-4,8-dioxo-1,5-diazocane-2,6-dicarboxylic acid, or their salts, to plants or materials for plant propagation. Composition comprises ketosuccinamate, dimeric ketosuccinamate; 4-amino-2,4-dioxobutanoic acid; (S)-4-oxo-2-azetidinecarboxylic acid; (R)-4-oxo-2-azetidinecarboxylic acid; 4,8-dioxo-1,5-diazocane-2,6-dicarboxylic acid or 2,6-dihydroxy-4,8-dioxo-1,5-diazocane-2,6-dicarboxylic acid or their salts; a carrier; and, optionally, a compound that stimulates plant growth.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to increase the growth characteristics of plants, to increase the efficiency of plant nutrient use or to improve the ability of plants to overcome stress.
