FIELD: natural and chemical threads and fibers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for producing hollow fibers based on polymers as well as membranes obtained from such hollow fibers that can be used in gas separation devices for separating, purifying and concentrating gas mixtures, in particular, containing helium, hydrogen, hydrogen sulphide, mercaptans, carbon dioxide and/or hydrocarbons. Hollow fiber membrane is obtained by passing a molding solution containing from 21 to 35 wt. % of a polyetherimide, 40 to 65 wt. % of a solvent and from 1 to 25 wt. % of a non-solvent, through a spinneret with simultaneous feeding into the internal cavity of an inner coagulant membrane to form a hollow fiber, and on the external surface - external coagulant. Membrane is passed through a bath with a coagulant and a washing bath, after which the membrane is wound onto a receiving wheel rotating at a linear fiber reception rate of 3 to 60 m/min, then dried and a hollow fiber membrane with an anisotropic fiber structure with an outer diameter is received from 90 to 800 microns, the internal fiber diameter from 30 to 400 microns, wall thickness from 30 to 385 microns, volume porosity from 30 to 80 percent. Hollow fiber membrane is designed to operate at a gas pressure of up to 120 atm and a temperature of up to 80°C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a hollow fiber membrane with increased strength.
