HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B01D71/68 B01D69/08

Abstract RU 2676991 C1

FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing hollow fibers based on polymers, as well as to membranes, obtained from such hollow fibers, which can be used for the separation, purification and concentration of liquid media, in particular, in ultrafiltration processes. Hollow fiber anisotropic membrane with adjustable pore sizes from 5 nm to 1 mcm for cleaning, separating and concentrating liquid media, characterized in that the material of the hollow fiber membrane is selected from polysulfones, the hollow fiber membrane is obtained by passing a molding solution containing from 10 to 60 % wt. polymer, from 10 to 90 % wt. solvent, from 0 to 80 % wt. non-solvent, from 0 to 50 % wt. target additives calculated on the total weight of the molding solution, through the extrusion nozzle with simultaneous feeding into the internal cavity of the membrane of the internal coagulant to shape the hollow fiber, and on the outer surface of the outer coagulant, then the membrane is passed through an air gap in height from 0 to 1000 mm, then through a bath with a coagulant and a wash bath, after which the membrane is wound on the receiving wheel, rotating at a linear rate of fiber reception from 0.1 to 60 m/min, then dried and anisotropic hollow fiber membrane is produced with an outer diameter of 90 to 3000 mcm, an internal diameter of the channel from 30 to 1800 mcm, wall thickness from 30 to 600 microns, bulk porosity from 30 to 80 %, the pores of the resulting membrane in the inoperative state are slit-like.

EFFECT: membranes made from such hollow fibers can be used to separate, purify and concentrate liquid media, in particular, in ultrafiltration processes.
