FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil-field equipment, namely to downhole filters protecting the bore hole pump from mechanical impurities. Device comprises a carrying element, an outer and an inner slot filter elements facing with the support rods towards each other, and winding profiles directed in opposite directions with the formation of longitudinal channels, an upper sub with outlet holes connected to the longitudinal channels and a lower flange. Carrying element is a shaft. In the lower flange, holes that communicate the internal slotted filter element with the borehole, and the longitudinal channels – with a slurry trap attached to the flange. In the upper sub there is a safety valve.
EFFECT: reduces the metal capacity of the bore hole filter without reducing the bearing capacity, increases its throughput capacity while maintaining the dimensions, and increases the operational reliability and manufacturability.
