FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of firefighting and localization of fires covering large areas, forest fires, including crown fires, fires in high-rise buildings, oil storages and hazardous industries. Device consists of a container, delivered by air, filled with spherical cylinders with extinguishing agents. Spherical cylinders are automatically ejected at a certain height from the container and triggered automatically, bursting evenly covering the combustion zone. Also, spherical cylinders provide localization of the fire, preventing its spread.
EFFECT: device makes it possible to achieve large quenching powers and a rational distribution of the quenching reagents.
