FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: method of a peat fire extinguishing at depth includes loosening the peat layer at a certain depth and, at the same time, supply of water to the obtained channels via a cascade of heads, located on loosening levers. Continuous fire extinguishing is carried out by constant refill of the carrier vehicle tank with water using a helicopter from a special suspended water capsule. The device for implementing the method of a peat fire extinguishing includes a carrier caterpillar vehicle 1, on the platform of which there is a tank 3 for water with a piping system for water supply in the peat layer and a frame 9 with a mechanism of the peat layer destruction, which is made in the form of a cascade of curved levers 11 of triangular section, installed on the frame. A tubular head 12 with openings is attached to the ends of each lever. The ends of the central pipeline 10 have threaded plugs allowing for the attachment of the additional levers with tubular heads or fire hoses with hydraulic guns. The filler neck 4 of the water tank 3 has 5 LEDs on the perimeter, while the carrier vehicle in its front part is fitted with rollers 15, located on sliding rotary beams 16, complete with movement recording sensors.

EFFECT: possibility of eliminating fire sources at a certain depth of their occurrence.
