FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment and provides a non-invasive device and method for treating skin tissue. Device comprises a light emission system for generating a first laser pulse and a subsequent second laser pulse at a predefined time delay after the first laser pulse, as well as an optical system for focusing the first laser pulse and the second laser pulse at a treatment location inside the skin tissue. First laser pulse comprises a first power density, a first pulse duration and a first pulse energy for initiating a plasma at the treatment location.
EFFECT: next second laser pulse comprises a second power density than the first power density, and the second pulse duration at least 10 times the first pulse duration, and the second pulse energy, greater than the first pulse energy, to maintain either the intensify the plasma initiated by the first laser pulse, so that during operation, the first laser pulse and the second laser pulse jointly induce a laser-induced optical breakdown at the treatment location.
