FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, in particular to designs of helicopter gearboxes. Oil system of a helicopter gearbox with redundancy of the lubrication and cooling circuits contains a gearbox cavity, a main and an additional oil tanks, two two-stage oil pump units, shutoff valves, pressure and scavenge lines, nozzles, backup lines, drain lines, a drain oil channel, control lines, a pressure relief valve, a bypass line and a heat exchanger. Oil system of the helicopter gearbox with redundancy of the lubrication and cooling circuits is made two-circuit with one circuit fed with oil for lubricating elements of the gearbox as per the "main tank – oil pumps – gearbox – additional tank" scheme, and with the second circuit, which is the external cooling circuit, where the oil is cooled as per the "additional tank – oil pumps – valve distributor – heat exchangers – main tank" scheme.
EFFECT: provided is an increased reliability in the aircraft operation with a simultaneous increase in the safety of the drive system.
