In the casing for the spindles of a textile machine containing a machine mounted on a spindle beam at the level of its spindles along their row, a guard with vibro-sound-absorbing layers fixed on its inner surface, fence is made in the form of a body consisting of an upper and a side plate rigidly fixed to a spindle bar, and a vertically disposed removable cover consisting of a lower horizontal plate and a vertical slit plate, the sound-absorbing guard of the casing guard is made in the form of a rigid and perforated wall, between which is located a multi-layer sound-absorbing element, made in the form of five layers, two of which, adjacent to the walls, are sound-absorbing layers of materials of different density, and three central layers are combined, the axial layer being sound-absorbing, and two symmetrically located adjacent to it layer are made of a sound-reflecting material of a complex profile, consisting of uniformly distributed hollow tetrahedra, allowing to reflect the sound waves falling in all directions, and as a sound absorbing material, plates are used from mineral wool on a Rockwool basalt basis, or URSA mineral wool, or P-75 basalt wool, or glass wool with glass wool lining, and the sound-absorbing member is lined on its entire surface with an acoustically transparent material, for example, EZ-100 glass fiber cloth or a polymer of poviden type, as a sound-absorbing material of a sound-absorbing casing guard, a porous sound-absorbing material is used, for example, foam aluminum or cermet with a degree of porosity in the range of optimum values of 30÷45 %, or metal foam plastic, or crumb from hard vibration damping materials, for example, elastomer, polyurethane, or plastic compound of Agat, Antivibrite, Schwim type, where the size of crumb fractions is in the optimum range of values of 0.3…2.5 mm, and can also be used porous mineral piece materials, for example, pumice, vermiculite, kaolin, slags with cement or other binding, or synthetic fibers, while the surface of fibrous absorbents is treated with special porous air-passing paints, for example Acutex T, or covered with air-permeable fabrics or non-woven materials, for example Lutrasil.
