FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery and ophthalmology. For surgical treatment of post-traumatic enophthalmos with the use of a biological implant, which is placed in the orbit, the material of retrobulbar fiber lost in the orbit is restored. To do this use the fatty body of the cheek (FBC) of the patient, while dissecting the mucous membrane of the cheek closest to the operated eye. Isolate FBC which is dissected with preserving the anatomical connection of the donor site of the FBC with the tissues of the cheek and the cut off section of the FBC. After that cut off section of the FBC from the cheek tissues is separated and without loosing the connection of the cut off section of the FBC with the donor site, the free part of the donor site is separated by dissection. After that spend a segment of FBC in the orbit through the lower orbital gap, then surgical wounds are layer-by-layer sutured.
EFFECT: method excludes disturbances of blood circulation and trophic graft during the postoperative period and minimizes the risk of its rejection.
