FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial, reconstructive plastic surgery and neurosurgery, and can be used in reconstructive operations of complex defects of maxillofacial area using augmented virtual reality technique. Disclosed is a method in which a patient undergoes a multispiral computed tomography, the obtained results are loaded into a database of the navigation system "Stryker", which creates a virtual model of the implant and the displaced bone fragments, taking into account the personalized anatomy of the patient, visualizing the entire area of the implant, graft and reduced bone fragments in each point of its surface and during the operation, the planned installation of the implant, the graft is carried out under the control of the software of the frameless navigation system in combination with a virtual augmented reality technique using a Carl Zeiss Pentero 800 microscope.
EFFECT: invention provides performing a single-stage reconstruction of a complex combined post-traumatic defect and deformation of the middle zone of the facial skull, favourable course of the postoperative period with achieving good functional and aesthetic results, as well as fast physical and social rehabilitation of the patient.
