FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves a study that determines the shape and size of the defect to be filled, simulation of transplant configuration and size, followed by tissue deficit replacement. As a transplant, dermo-fat tissue is taken from the anterior abdominal wall area of the patient, on the surface of which, prior to placement in the defect area, a layer of "Kolegel-ADL" is applied in the form of a film, and the walls of the orbit are also treated with this gel. Then the obtained autotransplant is placed in the defect area, dermis to the eyeball, after which two biocomposition implants are disposed in the lower region of the eyeball at a distance of 2.5-3.0 cm between them, with congruent surfaces corresponding to the walls of the eye socket and the eyeball.
EFFECT: method allows one-time reconstruction of a complex combined orbital defect, to ensure successful ophthalmological and social rehabilitation, to achieve a satisfactory aesthetic result.
