FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the producing of a buckwheat husk dye which can be used in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Method includes extracting the buckwheat husks with water at the irrigation module 5–20 for 0.5–2 hours when exposed to microwave radiation at a frequency of 2,400–2,500 MHz to provide a temperature of 120–180 °C. Obtained extract is evaporated under reduced pressure to a thick viscous mass and dried at a temperature of not more than 60 °C.
EFFECT: invention ensures obtaining a dye without the use of chemical reagents uncontaminated by byproducts, as well as an increase in extraction efficiency due to uniformity and the accuracy of heating using microwave radiation when expanding the field of application of the dye because of its UV protective properties and the ability to dye aqueous solutions, fat and oil compositions.
