FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless communication systems and is intended to improve the efficiency of transfer of a payload with a small amount of data, such as data for transmission of machine-type data (MTC), and compatibility with networks with broadband wireless access (BWA). Device comprises a communication interface circuit configured to receive, through a first anchor point from the server (SCS), a device initiation request message for initiating the transmission by the user equipment (UE) of the small-size payload, wherein the device initiation request message contains the initiating payload, wherein the initiating payload contains information destined for the MTC application from the UE, together with the MTC application identifier (ID), wherein the MTC-IWF is configured to terminate the first anchor point and providing, to the support network element, the initiating payload for delivering the initiating payload to the UE through the second anchor point; and a processor circuitry associated with the communication interface circuit, wherein the processor circuit is configured to allow the SCS before establishing communication with the wireless communication network, resolving control plane requests from the SCS, hiding the topology of the internal terrestrial mobile public network (PLMN) and transmitting or translating the signal protocols used at the first reference point to call specific functions in the PLMN.
