For this purpose, said message carries a parameter indicating validity period of short message, sent to a subscriber or indication information indicating whether to add to short message waiting data (MWD) a subscriber entry, if short message cannot be sent or if an attempt to send said short message failed; determining that short message cannot be sent or an attempt to send said short message failed, and value of parameter is equal to 0 or info indication indicates that does not require add recording data MWD for Subscriber, when short message cannot be sent or an attempt to send said short message failed; and omitting addition of an entry to subscriber MWD, wherein said entry includes an identifier of a service centre for short message service, serving subscriber.
EFFECT: reduced volume of additional signal transmission.
