FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used as a control system for electric generators with an alternator. In the control system of a diesel electric generating set with an alternating current generator containing a diesel internal combustion engine, on the crankshaft of which there is a coupling, an alternator, a control unit (control panel) of an electric power unit and a unit for connecting consumers of electric power of an alternating current, in addition, a load current sensor, an AC power converter, a load connection unit, a constant frequency inverter, a fuel supply control unit, a control unit for checking the current engine speed of the crankshaft, a buffer molecular storage of electric power of a direct current, a sensor of a charge current of a buffer molecular store, the engine speed control unit and the engine starting unit, and also because the control unit of the electric generating unit contains a system unit, consisting of a microprocessor, a system bus, a synchronizer, a program device and an identification device, a data receiving unit, and a control command generation unit.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in increasing the stability of the output voltage of the alternator with sudden changes in the load current, increasing the technical resource of the engine and reducing the hourly fuel consumption.
