FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: sucker rod pump comprises a cylinder, a hollow plunger with a suction valve mounted therein. The rod is placed in the cylinder and connects the plunger with the sucker rod string. The pump contains a sealing unit and a pressure valve. The rod is made in the form of a hollow rod installed in the cylinder and connected with a sub, with a hole for passing the produced liquid positioned above the sealing unit and rigidly fixed in the cylinder. A drainage hole is made in the upper part of the cylinder below the sealing unit.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption and increased service life of underground and ground equipment due to removal of loads from the liquid column weight in the tubing string.
