SUBSTANCE: invention relates to receiving and displaying server pages and web pages. Method of receiving and displaying the server page, in which data are initially received, these data representing portions of a plurality of objects included in a page, progress indicators are generated and displayed, which individually indicate the progress status of reception of the received objects, user inputs are accepted either for cancelling reception of the specific object, or allowing the reception of the object, when the automatic reception of the other objects is cancelled.
EFFECT: technical result is the acceleration of the process of receiving the required information of the server page.
