FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of the mining industry solid low-level waste, namely, to the uranium extraction from a rock with the uranium content of 0.005–0.04 %. Method includes the uranium leaching using the thionic microorganisms association. At that, the leaching is carried out from the rock waste with a fraction of 1–40 mm with a ferric ions containing solution with a concentration of 10–25 g/l, divalent iron ions with a concentration of 0.5–5.0 g/l, a sulfuric acid solution with a concentration of 2–10 g/l, and the thionic microorganisms association microorganisms culture with the ferrooxidans predominant concentration. Leaching is carried out at pH value of 1.1–2.4 by percolation and bundle methods for 150–360 hours. At that, performing the trivalent iron solution regeneration with air oxygen, bubbled through the circulating solution, and the thionic bacteria association with the Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans predominant content in a separate reactor.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the uranium leaching degree.
