FIELD: military equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military caterpillar vehicles (MCV) of high cross-country capability on weak soils. MCV on a body comprises a thin-armoured body, including a motion control compartment, a combat unit with main armament, sealed engine-transmission compartment, running gear in the form of caterpillar propellers with suspension. In addition, there is an overhead detachable complex device with a developed supporting surface, made up of four additional independent propellers with independent suspension. Overhead detachable complex device has a power drive for transferring additional propellers from the transport position to the working one. Transfer device is designed in such a way that the body of each is a composite ski structure with curved edges and forms a shape of a sealed hollow pontoon. Power drive for transfer of additional propellers from the transport position to the working one is made using hydraulic cylinders. Additional propellers consist of two sliders and two performing stepping. On tracks of caterpillar propellers, additional extensions are installed on both sides with the possibility of dismantling.

EFFECT: high off-road capability of the MCV is achieved by reducing pressure on the ground.
