SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for increasing the road holding of military tracked vehicles (MTV) on grounds with low load-bearing capacity. The method includes loosening the tension of the tracks, increasing the ground clearance of the vehicle to the maximum with the help of hydraulic cylinders of pneumatic springs, locking the suspension elements of all support rollers in the position of the maximum ground clearance of the vehicle, followed by stretching the tracks with the maximum possible effort.

EFFECT: increased road holding of MTV is achieved on grounds with low load-bearing capacity.
