FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the electron accelerator based on the ferroelectric plasma (FEP) cathode. In the proposed accelerator, the energy store together with the pulse driver is made as the forming line, which consists of n+1, where n is the natural number of segments of homogeneous lines with the wave impedance ρ, the transformer is connected between the forming line and the diode and consists of n, where n is the natural number of segments of homogeneous lines with the wave impedance ρ, which are connected in parallel at the input, and on the output in series, between the forming line and the transformer, the control arrester, the separate cable with the wave resistance ρ connects the forming line with the cathode.
EFFECT: technical result is to ensure the compactness of the device at the simplicity of execution in combination with the possibility, without significant changes in the design, to vary the energy of the beam electrons and the duration of beam generation (the duration of the current pulse of the electron beam).
