POTATO DRIP IRRIGATION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A01G25/02 A01G25/00 A01B9/00

Abstract RU 2789862 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and will find application in drip irrigation of potatoes, as well as other row crops. Method includes laying pipelines with droppers in row spacing along rows of irrigated crop, connecting them to water supply pipeline and supplying water from drip outlets to irrigated field. Before laying the pipeline with droppers in the middle of the row-spacing, by compacting the soil, cone-shaped holes are formed with a depth of 5-10 cm and a diameter of 10-15 cm. When laying the pipeline, droppers are placed above these holes, and during irrigation, water is supplied to them. The device for implementing the proposed method includes a row-crop tractor, to the front of the frame of which the ends of two beams are attached, interconnected by a transverse crossbar coupled with the hydraulic cylinder of the tractor hydraulic system. At the opposite ends of the beams, an axis is fixed, on which, through a distance corresponding to a given scheme for laying pipelines with droppers, several bushings are installed, equipped with telescopic radial spokes, consisting of a branch pipe with a retractable rod and a fixer for its position. At the end of the rod, a stamp of a conical shape with a diameter of 10-15 cm and a height of 5-10 cm is fixed, and in its body at a distance of 2-3 cm from the top an annular recess is made with a depth of 0.5-1.0 cm and a width of 1.0-1 .5 cm

EFFECT: proposed method using the proposed device allows to reduce evaporation from the surface of the field and the loss of fertilizers due to the absorption of water by the walls of the holes without the formation of a wetted spot on the surface of the field; at the same time, the placement of droppers over the well simplifies the control over their work and ensures their timely cleaning.
