SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the gas industry, in particular to the objects of the main gas pipeline, and can be used in the operation of the compressor station. Method of the air-cooling apparatus cleaning of natural gas at the compressor station is that for connecting the air-cooling apparatus of the gas to the intake manifolds and the gas outlet, two sections of metal gas pipelines between the inlet ball valve and the gas air-cooling unit are dismantled, and also between the gas air-cooling unit and the outlet ball valve; installation of two flexible high pressure hoses by means of four flange connections, two pressure gauges at the inlet and outlet of the gas air-cooling device, allowing to estimate the degree of contamination, deterioration of heat removal and the need for cleaning in the presence of a gas pressure drop of 0.02 MPa; to carry out the cleaning of the pipe and intertube space of the heat-exchange sections, the air-cooling apparatus of the gas is stopped, the gas is vented to the atmosphere. Disassemble the flange connections and heat exchange sections, which, after washing with steam from the steam generating unit and subsequent drying, are installed back into the gas air-cooling unit. Assemble in the reverse order.

EFFECT: provision of complete cleaning of the pipe and intertube space of the heat exchange sections from mechanical impurities by using a dismountable structure.
