SUBSTANCE: in gas air cooling unit including the housing with heat exchange modules containing finned tubes arranged in rows and device for supply of inter-tube cooling medium to housing, which is made in the form of fans, attachment of finned tubes of heat exchange modules to tube covers is detachable; for that purpose, in holes of tube covers there is thread, the unit is also equipped with attachment assemblies, each of which includes connection element made in the form of connection pipe, the length of adjacent connection elements of one row of finned tubes of heat exchange modules is various, and gaskets are arranged between flanges; at that, some part of surface of each of gaskets is connected to the appropriate flange and to each other by welding, which is performed so that it can provide tightness of gas air cooling unit at its operation.
EFFECT: enlarging service life and operating reliability, providing its manufacturability, repairability and complete tightness of flange connections.
