SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and, in particular, to systems of secondary power supplies, and can be used in railway transport for power supply of wireless modems of low power. Secondary power supply of the low-power wireless modem contains a current transformer, a rectifying diode bridge, the output terminals of which are connected to the input terminals of the voltage regulator made in accordance with the DC-DC converter scheme, battery, controlled switch, non-polar capacitor, protective block and voltage limiter. Smoothing capacitor is included in the rectifying diode bridge. Current transformer is made with a closed magnetic circuit through which a jumper is passed through the window to pass the traction current along the rails between the block-sections of the automatic blocking and performing the function of the primary winding of the transformer, parallel to the secondary winding of the current transformer, a non-polar capacitor is connected to form a resonant circuit tuned to the industrial frequency and connected via a series-connected protective block and a voltage limiter to the input terminals of the rectifier on the diode bridge. Converter-regulator according to the DC-DC converter scheme is connected by output terminals to the inputs of the controlled switch for supplying voltage to the inputs of the power supply of the wireless modem and the inputs of the battery charge, the outputs of which are connected to other inputs of the controlled switch, another output connected to the information input of the wireless modem.

EFFECT: simplification of the design of the secondary power supply of the wireless modem due to the removal of electrical energy by a non-contact method through an alternating magnetic field created by the flowing traction current along the rail line.
