METHOD AND DEVICE TO ENSURE THE SAFETY IN MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF GLASS OPENINGS OF INCLINED ROOFS OF GREENHOUSES Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A01G9/14 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method and the device relate to the field of increasing efficiency and safety in the cleaning, repair and replacement of glasses of glass roofs of greenhouses for the production of vegetables, flowers and fruits. Method includes mounting on an inclined roof surface of greenhouses on the rafters of an air vent module. Module contains support 1, air vent frame 2 and glass unit 11. Air vent frame 2 is U-shaped, fastened to support frame 1 by means of loops 12, allowing it to open into the interior space of the greenhouse to a perpendicular position relative to the roof of the greenhouse, is fixed by latches 13 and provides the possibility of removing from the lateral sides of an open air vent frame of glass unit 11 for maintenance or repair. Device is made in the form of glass unit 11 with air vent frame 2, fixed to the rafters in support frame 1, with at least two loops 12. Loops 12 are located on the inside of support frame 1, which is provided with locking catches and grooves with a draught strip for sealability of the air vent unit. Glass unit 11 is provided with internal and external grooves for sealed fixation of the glass unit inside U-shaped air vent frame 2, and the glasses inside the glass unit, while the outer grooves are located on the three sides of the glass unit to ensure its horizontal movement to the right or left inside the air vent unit with the frame open with a force of 100–150 N.

EFFECT: method and the device provide the possibility of safe maintenance and repair of glass openings of inclined roofs of greenhouses.
