SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for representation of a two-dimensional image. Method of providing a partial three-dimensional visualization of the document comprises the steps of: obtaining a plurality of 3D object images of the database, each of the 3D image objects of the database represents a 3D model associated with the corresponding 2D (2D) images; the preservation is initiated by means of a device processor of a plurality of 3D database objects in a database of 3D models; a document based on the operation of automatic Web scanning is received, while the document includes an image object representing the first 2D image; determine whether the match between the resulting image object and coinciding one of the objects of the 3D image of the database and initiating the input of the coincidence pointer, indicating the correspondence of the match between the obtained image object and the coincident object of the 3D image of the database.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the information content and speed of search results.
